Media and it’s role in political campaigning has come a long way.  Today’s political candidates are using the internet more than ever for recognition.  Presidential candidates are currently trying to reach out to the younger generation through You Tube, Myspace, and other social networking sites.  Candidates are trying to present themselves to the best of their ability for more online popularity, targeting youth, young adults, and anyone qualified to vote.

Thesis: Whether it’s You Tube, a blog or any other social networking site, citizens and politicians are using the participatory Web to their advantage; increasing political involvement among young voters.
